Martha Kalina is a postdoctoral researcher at TU Dresden. After her Diploma in Civil Engineering, she pursued a PhD at the Chair for Computational and Experimental Solid Mechanics at TU Dresden under the supervision of Prof. Markus Kästner.

Her research explores phase-field modelling techniques for fracture problems, specifically for fatigue fracture. She focuses on ductile and anisotropic fracture behaviour and accelerating time-consuming fatigue simulations. Martha completed her PhD in October 2024.
