What is the Program About?
This mentoring initiative connects young researchers in their early career stages with experienced GAMM Juniors, who act as mentors. These mentors share their knowledge, offer career guidance, and help mentees navigate the challenges of academia.
Who Can Apply?
- Early-stage PhD students
- Master’s graduates transitioning to a PhD
How Does it Work?
- Duration: One-year mentorship with the possibility of extending informally
- Support: Personalized advice on academic and personal development
- Communication: A close mentor-mentee relationship ensures an open exchange of ideas
- Duties: The mentee is responsible for initiating meetings and active participation in the program
