Nina Beranek studied Computational Science and Engineering at the University of Ulm, where she recieved her M.Sc. in 2021. Her master thesis was on the topic of space-time variational methods and reduced basis methods for parabolic optimal control problems. In 2021, she started her PhD at the University of Ulm at the Institute of Numerical Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karsten Urban.
