Alireza Tabrizikahou

Alireza Tabrizikahou obtained his M.Sc. in Structural Engineering in 2020 and commenced his PhD that same year under the supervision of Prof. Mieczysław Kuczma, with a thesis entitled “Numerical modelling and experimental studies of high-performance concrete with shape-memory alloy fibres”. He serves on the academic teaching and research staff at the Poznań University of Technology in Poland, and was a member of the organising committee of GAMM 2025 Conference in Poznań, and editor of the conference Book of Abstracts of GAMM 2025.

His research focuses on advanced experimental mechanics and computational modelling such as high-performance concrete reinforced with shape-memory alloy fibres — calibrating damage-plasticity models, automating fibre-distribution algorithms in Abaqus/CAE via Python scripting, and developing modular digital-twin frameworks. Concurrently, he engages with structural-engineering design topics such as Eurocode-based timber trusses, steel beams and optimisation of lightweight bridging systems, aiming to merge materials innovation with resilient structural solutions.
