Charlotte Geier is a researcher at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Her current research focusses on nonlinear dynamics in mechanical systems, complex network approaches, and the connections between the two fields. Prior work includes machine learning applications to friction-induced vibrations using structured and neural network-based approaches. She studied General Engineering Sciences and Theoretical Mechanical Engineering at TUHH.
In 2021, she started a PhD in the Dynamics Group at TUHH under the supervision of Prof. Hoffmann. She defended her dissertation entitled “Towards a network perspective on the nonlinear dynamics of mechanical structures” in November 2025.
