Are you starting your PhD or transitioning from a Master’s to doctoral studies? The GAMM Juniors Mentoring Program offers valuable support tailored specifically for you!

The program will begin in June 2026 following the GAMM Annual Meeting. Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2026.

What is the Program About?

This mentoring initiative connects young researchers in their early career stages with experienced GAMM Juniors, who act as mentors. These mentors share their knowledge, offer career guidance, and help mentees navigate the challenges of academia.

Who Can Apply?

  • Early-stage PhD students
  • Master’s graduates transitioning to a PhD

How Does it Work?

  • Duration: One-year formal mentorship pairing
  • Support: Personalized advice on academic and personal development
  • Communication: A close mentor-mentee relationship ensures an open exchange of ideas
  • Duties: The mentee is responsible for initiating meetings and active participation in the program
