The annual GAMM Juniors meeting 2016 was held in Chemnitz from Sept 29 and 30. A main topic was the organization of the YAMM (“Young Academics in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics”) at upcoming the annual meeting of the GAMM in Weimar, March 2017.

Last week, the third GAMM Juniors Summerschool on Geometric Methods in Multi-Body and Structural Dynamics was held near Leipzig. The report by the organizers, Dominik Kern and Karl Worthmann, is now available here.
