Sahir Butt obtained a Master’s degree in Computational Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum in 2017.
He is the Fast-Track PhD candidate of the Collaborative Research Center “Interaction modeling in Mechanized Tunneling” (SEF837), working in subproject C4 under supervision of Prof. Günther Meschke. His research focuses on modeling dynamic fracture phenomena within the framework of peridynamic theory.
