Johanna Eisenträger, postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mechanics, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany
In 2014, I graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in Germany. Within my master thesis, I have developed a user-defined finite element for laminated glass panels and photovoltaic modules based on a layer-wise theory.
After graduation, I started my PhD studies at the Institute of Mechanics in the group of Prof. Holm Altenbach. Within the DFG Research Training Group 1554 ,,Micro-Macro-Interactions in structured Media and Particle Systems”, I’m working on the modelling of rate-dependent inelasticity of tempered martensitic steels based on a phase mixture model. In May 2018, I completed my PhD studies. My current research includes the conduction of experiments, the set-up and calibration of the non-linear constitutive model as well as the implementation into the finite element method.
